Size Guide
AMUMIN shoes are handmade from natural vegetable-tanned leather that gently adapts to your feet. All our styles are true to size, with leather stretching slightly in width after a few wears. Use the measurement guide and conversion tables below to find your perfect fit.
How to measure your feet
Takes 2 minutes. Do it at the end of the day (feet are slightly larger then) while wearing the socks you'd wear with the shoes.
- Place a blank sheet of paper on the floor, flush against a wall.
- Stand on it with your heel touching the wall.
- Mark the tip of your longest toe with a pen held perpendicular to the paper.
- Measure from the wall to the mark in centimetres. That's your foot length.
- Repeat for both feet. One foot is often slightly longer — use the larger measurement.
Add 5 mm of wiggle room for comfort. If you're between sizes, size down — the leather stretches slightly as it breaks in.

Tip for babies: have your little one lie down or stand barefoot and measure from heel to tip of longest toe. Don't let toes curl — it shortens the measurement. Leave 10 mm wiggle room for growth.

- Sereen — Leather Indoor Shoes (Adult)
- True to size. Leather gently adapts to your feet and stretches slightly in width. If you're between sizes or have narrow feet, size down.
- Terra — Leather Outdoor Shoes (Adult)
- True to size. Slightly sturdier than Sereen; leather stretches marginally. Between sizes? Size down.
- Mini Sereen — Kids Leather Indoor Shoes
- True to size. Leather stretches slightly in width. Narrow feet or between sizes? Size down.
- Earthy Rise — Kids Leather Indoor Shoes
- Available in EU 19–21 for early walkers. Measure the foot and add 10 mm for growth room.
- Earthy First Steps — Baby Leather Shoes
- Designed for first steps. Flexible, anti-slip, adjustable. Measure the foot; add 10 mm wiggle room. If your baby is between sizes, size up — they grow fast.
Frequently asked questions
- What if I'm between sizes?
- Size down. Natural leather stretches slightly after a few wears, especially in width. Most customers find their perfect fit within 1–2 weeks of wear.
- Can the leather really stretch?
- Yes — vegetable-tanned leather is alive. It moulds to your foot shape with body heat and movement. Expect 2–4 mm of width give over the first week. Length stays stable.
- What if my shoes don't fit?
- No worries — we offer a 30-day free return in the Netherlands, Belgium, and across the EU. Ship them back unworn and we'll refund or exchange.
- How do I measure a baby's foot?
- Have them lie down or stand. Press a piece of paper against their heel flat against a wall, and mark the tip of the longest toe. Measure from wall to mark. Don't let toes curl — it shortens the reading.
- Do barefoot shoes really need to fit this specifically?
- Yes. Barefoot shoes have a wide toe box and flexible sole designed to let toes splay naturally. Too small = cramped toes; too big = foot slides around. Accurate measurement matters more than with conventional shoes.
- Can I exchange a size after wearing them indoors briefly?
- Yes — we accept exchanges if shoes are in original condition, including indoor try-on (please keep soles clean). See our return policy.
